A creative process & workshop for women over 40. Using performance and creation techniques that Meagan uses in her own dance-theatre "Off the wall, impossible to categorize, fun" solo shows, participants explore what moves and motivates them.
At the end of the workshop each participant will have a mini performance piece (could be 1 minute, could be 3 minutes) to share with each other. No dance experience necessary.
As part of the workshop, Meagan performs her new solo show, Vicarious Time.
An incantation, an exploration of time, a radical suspension of disbelief, long-distance healing, collective migration. Pondering courage. In the face of all that scares us. A quest to bring beauty into focus. A reciprocal exchange of the space we take up in the universe.
