Seeking Berlin-based Female identifying dancers

Stand Up Dance is mounting ANATOMALIA in Berlin this summer. We’re looking for 2 Berlin-based, female identifying dancers. Experienced, queer BIPOC dancers are especially encouraged to submit.

ANATOMALIA is an immersive dance and performance experience with 5 dancers and a community chorus of 10. Audience follows dancers and chorus throughout the space to discover different scenes.ANATOMALIA is a collective healing of the damage done to femalia* and moves dancers through states of shame, fear, repulsion, rage, transformation through singing and togetherness to desire, curiosity, trust and joy. There are ensemble choreographies, performative installations, partnering, singing and partial nudity.ANATOMALIA has been presented at Rechenzentrum Potsdam/DE, The Dance Centre Vancouver/CA, Kiisu Teater, Outokumpo/FI.We are looking for versatile dancers who work well in a group, are comfortable jogging, singing, partnering, with partial nudity and are quick learners and willing collaborators. ANATOMALIA will be performed throughout a venue and site and will require jogging on cement in running shoes.

This is a paid project to be presented in PSR Heizhaus at Uferstudios

Must be available: 16 - 19 .06.2025 + 21.07 - 3.08.2025
