ABOUT STAND UP MOLISE An idea to foster creative and international exchange set in the village countryside of Rotello, Italy. The festival would feature performances outdoors in different locations, from the medieval old town, to the chicken coop, the stairs that cut through the village, to the olive grove. The festival would also host workshops and through them create a performance for the end of the festival. Postponed from 2020 due to COVID-19 and revisioned as a more modest workshop endeavour for 2021, Stand Up Molise dance workshop trains creative strategies and develops ensemble improv practice. Gathering to dance together after so long apart, the workshop week will hone our group collaboration and physical listening skills and together we will create site responsive performance in the olive grove and medieval ruins of il Giardino Artistic Farm.
